Objectives of Donation Campaign
While Allah mentions in the Quran the benefits and importance of charity and assisting others in our lives on earth, this form of worship is often overlooked. One way IOU makes it easy to give in charity is by providing an education to Muslims that will enrich their lives both spiritually and temporally.
IOU has numerous initiatives that seek to provide Muslims globally with various services needed in their respective areas. All of these initiatives are in URGENT need of donations and their benefits have been suspended due to lack of funds:
- 1 Million Scholarships for African Muslim Youths by 2020, First Phase: $560,000
- Maintenance of the Global Headquarters of the Islamic Online University in Gambia: $200,000
- Establishing an IOU Learning Center in Africa: $61,997
- The development and expansion of the IOU Prison Initiative in the USA & Ghana: $99,502
