Goals of the International Open University (IOU)

Empowering the Islamic nation through higher education and opening countless opportunities for Muslims globally is what IOU is all about. There are doors of opportunity that only the key of a college degree can unlock, however college education is beyond the reach of many people. IOU seeks to bring a degree within reach of all Muslims by providing education that everyone can attain.

By continuing to develop programs through research in order to expand its operations, IOU is a driving force toward CHANGING THE NATION THROUGH EDUCATION which is founded on authentic Islamic principles.

IOU has partnered up with charities in the USA (Al-Amin Trust Fund) and Malaysia (Global Open Learning Foundation) to collect donations for its various educational initiatives.
